Have a go at lawn bowls

started in 2009, the National Have a Go at Lawn Bowls Day is all about getting people into our clubs to give lawn bowls a go! This year's National Have a Go Day will be on SUNDAY 14 OCTOBER 2012. Why not give it a go. Oxford Club Bowls is also available for use on the following days for you to come and give the game a try. Every Tuesday from 5.00pm Every Thursday from 1pm and 5.00pm onwards September - March Saturdays may also be possible. This is dependent on time of year/club schedule. What
makes MIB different from other casual bowls programmes is that MIB
is for new participants to the sport. The rules are relaxed and the
emphasis is on having fun. TWILIGHT BOWLS FOR NON BOWLERS IS HELD ON MONDAY NIGHTS ANNUALLY THROUGH JANUARY. Dates to be confirmed Teams of three. Individuals welcome, we will put you in a team. We supply coaching, bowls, raffles, music, refreshments and a sausage sizzle. All you need to bring is flat soled shoes and a few dollars.
